Effective January 2009, the following Regulations

are in effect for all SNORE Races

There is a mandatory charge of $20 per badge for all large events

Badge pick up happens at race registration, during registration hours

 

1. MEDIA CREDENTIAL REQUESTS

Please submit requests for Media Credentials at least TWO WEEKS prior to each race to the proper SNORE personnel by using the e-mail link right.. To qualify for a media credential:

  • Proof of media affiliation must be shown in the form of either a media website (in advance) or a business card,
  • Must be 18 years of age or older,
  • Must sign the media liability waiver, and

2. MANDATORY VESTS

All Media Personnel must wear safety vest on the course with “MEDIA” on the back. This is a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Directive. This mandatory vest must be supplied by the individual. All Media Personnel must also wear a Media Badge and display a Vehicle Pass in order to be allowed press access.

NO EXCEPTIONS

 

3. DURING THE RACE

Anyone with a media pass has full access to the course before the start of race. Once the race has begun, any movement on the course must be done on foot. Media vehicles must be parked as far off the course as reasonably possible.

 

4. REVOCATION OF PRIVILEGES

Failure to adhere to any of these rules will result in the Revocation of Media Credentials. If you are found on the course without authorization, you will be asked to move to a designated spectator area.

In consideration of the acceptance of me being permitted to take part in this event, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns agree to save harmless and keep indemnified SNORE LTD., it’s individual members and their respective agents, officers, officials, servants, representatives, the owner, curator, lessors, agencies, (including but not limited to Federal, State, County, and City) or managers of a land upon which this event takes place on from and against all actions, claims, costs, and expenses and demands in respect to death, injury, loss or damage to my person or property, howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my entry or participation in this event, and not with standing that the same may have contributed to, occasioned by, or directly caused by the negligence of said bodies, their agents, officials, servants, or representatives.

 

I know the risks of danger to myself and my property while I am filming, videoing and/or taking still pictures of the event and while upon the event premises and relying upon my own judgment and ability, assume all risk of loss and take full responsibility for risk of bodily injury, death, and/or property damage due to the negligence of myself or my company or those under my supervision.

 

I, the undersigned, have read and voluntarily sign the release and waiver of liability and indemnity agreement and further agree that no oral representations, statements or inducements apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made.
