SNORE meets with Solar Power Officials Print E-mail
Tuesday, 22 September 2009 15:50

SNORE's committee on Solar Power Development, Ken Flippin, Travis Bozzano and Ken Cox Jr met with Nextlight Renewable Power's representative on Monday, September 28th.  The meeting went very well and options were discussed as to how to route racecourses so as not to affect the proposed solar site.  SNORE came away very happy with the attitude and willingness by Nextlight to help and preserve off road racing in the area.  Nextlight is expecting a ground breaking in late fourth quarter  of 2010.  We look forward to more meetings with Nextlight Renewable in the future, and thank them for their cooperation!

SNORE's Major Recycling Effort Print E-mail
Tuesday, 22 September 2009 15:47

SNORE 250 to kick off major recycling effort in conjunction with local Boy Scouts.  Dont be surprised when the Boy Scouts from Troop 562 show up and ask for your recycleables at the SNORE 250.  Its our way of trying to go a little greener and do our part to help the environment and let some great kids see some great racing.  Troop 562 is sponsored by Canyon Ridge Christian Church in northwest Las Vegas, and the boys will keep all the monies raised for their hard earned effort.  Look for them at tech and on race day...Way to go fellas!
